Cookie Policy
MB8 Sports AI uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) to run the site, remember your preferences, and measure usage. This page explains what we use and why.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and can't be turned off:
- Authentication session. Once you sign in, a session cookie keeps you logged in across pages and reloads.
- CSRF protection. A short-lived token attached to form submissions and write requests to prevent cross-site request forgery.
- Push subscription state. If you opt in to match reminders, your browser stores the subscription locally so we can send notifications.
Preferences
These remember choices you make so you don't have to repeat them every visit. They can be cleared from your browser at any time:
- Language and timezone. Defaulted to English and Asia/Kuala_Lumpur, switchable in the header.
- Theme. Light or dark mode preference.
- UI state. Expand and collapse choices on the predictions and live pages.
Analytics
We use lightweight analytics to count page views and understand which features people use. Data is anonymised and aggregated; we do not build individual advertising profiles. You can block analytics by using a content blocker or clearing site data in your browser.
Affiliate tracking
When you click “Bet Now on MB8” or a similar link, a referral identifier is appended to the URL. We do not see what you bet on, your MB8 balance, or any of your activity on the sportsbook itself.
Third-party content
The livestream player and sportsbook iframe load content from third-party providers (the stream broadcaster and MB8). Those providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy and cookie policies.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, restrict, or delete cookies from Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies listed above will prevent sign-in and other core features from working.
Changes
If we add or remove cookie categories, we'll update this page and flag the change on the site.
